Important NSR Information

While your student may still be wrapping up their senior year of high school, we know they are probably already thinking about the adventures that await them at Indiana Wesleyan University this fall! This is an exciting time for your whole family, especially for your student, who is probably looking for ways to prepare for college as soon as possible. One of the biggest steps they should take is registering for their first semester of classes at New Student Registration (NSR). Below is a list of everything you and your student need to know about NSR.

NSR Dates | May 18 & June 15

IWU offers two NSR dates that take place during the summer. Choose the one that works best for you!

Scheduling Classes

Your student will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a faculty advisor who will help them select courses. Your student’s advisor will also help your student begin thinking about their four-year academic plan.

After your student checks in at 10 am on their chosen NSR date, he or she will attend a welcome session followed by meeting with their advisor, eating lunch and attending Journey to Fall. Journey to Fall will provide your student with the opportunity to learn more about housing, financial aid, textbooks and more. At the end of the day, your student can also check out the community fair to learn more about activities and organizations they can be involved with on campus. Additionally, your student will meet some of their future classmates throughout the day, so there will be some familiar faces on campus this fall!

  1. My daughter attended the Accepted Students Weekend and registered for classes then. I assume she does not need to attend another session – is that correct? Thank you!
